Hide-A-Way Pizza

Tried this place after a year or two away. Sadly, order was messed up and prices were not reflective of quality. Over 60 dollars for two large pizzas and mozz sticks? Asked for an Italian sausage pizza and received their "Italian," pickles, peppers, onions, Capicola I think, and tomato slices....not good. Threw pickles off to the side. Other pizza was so well done that bacon bits were hard and burnt tasting. Cheese was overcooked. Mozz sticks served with Buffalo sauce not marinara. Not tasty folks. Used to love this place but will not return, sadly.

It's amazing, can't believe I've been driving by this place for so long. The pizza is very good, a thick, soft crust with flavorful sauce and lots of cheese. The chicken "fingers" are incredible, the best I've ever had anywhere... they're huge, a six piece and a large pizza can easily feed three people. The dinning area is small but roomy and clean. The staff is also very friendly.

This used to be my go to pizza place. Overall the food is really good and the chicken is always fresh. Unfortunately an encounter with the counter staff will keep my from going back. My mom ordered a sub online and paid. She went in to pick it up with our 4lb puppy who is too anxious to be left alone in the car. The counter staff immediately yelled at her to get out because they did not allow dogs. While we completely respect this rule there was no need to be so rude. It would have taken 2 minutes for her to hand my mom the sandwich so she could leave. Instead she refused to give her the food she paid for. She did eventually give her the food and told her “never come back with that thing”. Had she told her nicely they did not allow dogs even for a few mins to pick up food this would had a very different outcome. I had planned to order food from here for all my work meetings but will now be looking elsewhere. From reading other reviews it seems as we are not the only ones that have dealt with rude staff.

alright, positive warning ahead because i didn’t see it posted elsewhere - their chicken tenders are HUGE. i’m glad i didn’t order more than four for two people along with a pizza. the honey mustard sauce that people rave about… amazing. i also grabbed a cheese pizza for my party but i wasn’t super impressed with it. however, i will go back for the chicken tenders (and honey mustard) and will try one of their specialty pizzas next time!

As a newer resident to Uxbridge, I have usually gotten pizza locally in Uxbridge. After last night, that will be changed forever. Hide-A-Way Pizza in Mendon, literally 6 minutes from our house is the best pizza I have ever had! We ordered the Big Mac with the original crust and the People Choice in the thick pan crust and I was pretty speechless biting into both of these pizzas. My favorite is the people’s choice due to the honey mustard and chicken fingers ON the pizza and my boyfriend loves the Big Mac with all the toppings. This is our go to pizza place from now on!

Food is great when they give you what you ordered. I even tried ordering online so there would be no miscommunication but that didn’t work either. Also one/some of the people at the counter can be rude. The kind of rude where you call and someone just yells “HOLD” and then silence. I get busy at work too but I can always speak to people in full sentences.

The chicken fingers are the absolute best ever!! They're also massive so a 4 piece feels more like 6. The homemade honey mustard is amazing as well. Subs are good too but pizza is pretty mediocre, so I stick to everything else typically. The online ordering is great too and have never had an issue with it not being ready or taking a long time
